Frequently Asked

How we tell true stories.

How is a documentary different from a promo video?
A promo is short and persuasive; a documentary is story-first. It gives real people, real stakes, and real time — building trust and emotion a 60-second spot never can.
How long is a typical documentary?
Anywhere from a 3–5 minute branded short to an 18+ minute film like Life in Strides. We right-size the length to the story, never the other way around.
What does the process look like?
Discovery and research, then directed interviews, then verité and b-roll on location — finished with a story-driven edit, color, and original-feeling sound. You’re involved at every milestone.
Do you handle interviews and story production end to end?
Yes. From pre-interviews and narrative structure to directing on camera, archival, scoring, and final delivery — it’s a full documentary production, not just a shoot.
Where do you work?
Based in Dayton, Ohio, we produce on location across the U.S. and internationally — our work spans Ohio communities to Paris.
